Maximising the Shelf Life of Your UV-DTF and DTF Transfers
When it comes to UV-DTF and DTF transfers, the quality of your final product depends on more than just great designs — it’s also about ensuring your transfers are in top condition when you use them and whilst our transfers don’t have a strict expiration date, there are some guidelines to follow to maximise their shelf life and maintain their vibrant quality.
Do UV-DTF and DTF Transfers Expire?
UV-DTF and DTF transfers don’t have an official expiry date, but they are best used within 1-2 years of purchase.
How to Store Your Transfers:
Proper storage can significantly extend the life of your transfers. Follow these tips to keep your UV-DTF and DTF transfers in perfect condition:
- Store in a Cool, Dry Place
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight
- Keep your transfers in a room with stable temperatures, ideally between 15-25°C
- Avoid high humidity areas, as moisture can weaken the adhesive layer
Keep Transfers Flat
- Store transfers flat or loosely rolled (with the design side outward) to prevent creasing or curling.
- Avoid stacking heavy items on top of your transfers, as pressure can damage the design
